Cult dripper and decanter, all in one
If you’re looking for an all-in-one, pour-over coffee solution, you’re in exactly the right place. Hario have combined their legendary V60 dripper with a glass carafe, creating a winning product, a one-stop shop for pour-over coffee brewing.
Hario is famous for its simple, yet brilliantly-effective products. This brewer is no different. The Hario V60 drippers are popular because of their ingenious yet simple design. The inside of the dripper is forged with grooves in it, enabling the coffee to brew consistently.
The specially-designed dripper fits perfectly into their heat-resistant glass carafe. It also comes with a stylish and comfortable silicone handle so you can serve your coffee straight away. Each component of the brewer can be taken apart easily, making them easy to clean. The carafe and plastic dripper are both dishwasher safe.
The brewer even comes with a pack of ten Hario V60-02 filters. It’s a full set of beautifully-design coffee equipment which really does work.
* Cult classic V60 dripper
* Carafe made from heat proof glass
* Silicone heat wrap to make pouring easy
* 700ml capacity
* Carafe and dripper are dishwasher safe
* Comes with pack of ten Hario V60-02 filters
How to clean the brewer?
Both the carafe and the dripper are dishwasher safe. If there are any stubborn stains, use a sponge and a natural detergent on the glass. It’s important not to use anything too abrasive as it might scratch the glass.
For the silicone heat wrap, you can simply wipe it down to clean off any grubbiness or run it gently under the tap.
How is this product different from a Chemex?
A Chemex is another option for if you are looking for a combined pour-over brewer. The big difference with a Chemex is that it doesn’t use a grooved dripper and that Chemex have their own special sort of filters.
Which product you prefer is likely to come down to personal preference. The grooved dripper helps facilitate a consistent brew. The Chemex filters, however, are specially designed to do this job. They are made from densely woven fibres which help regulate the flow of the coffee.
Chemex are available in a variety of different sizes that can be similar to this Hario model.
