We are delighted to present the Costa Rica Santa Rosa 1900, an exceptional offering meticulously produced by Efrain “Macho” Naranjo and his sons, Herberth and Kevin, at Finca Macho. Situated in the high-altitude region of Tarrazu, Costa Rica, this farm reaches elevations of 1900–2000 masl, an ideal environment for slow-ripening, complexity-building cherry growth.

The Unique Reposado Process

This lot of Red Catuai undergoes a highly distinct processing method known as "Reposado." Before entering the washing station, the coffee cherries are intentionally rested in sealed plastic barrels for a period of 48 hours. This controlled pre-fermentation enhances the clarity and depth of the cup profile. Following this, the coffee is fully washed, resulting in an exceptionally clean, elegant, and vibrant expression of the terroir.
