Behind the brand is the memory and legacy of José Guillermo Luttrell Tedman, affectionately referred to as Abu by his grandchildren (Abuelo is grandfather in Spanish) and now the name of this wonderful company. José dreamt of creating the best in a cup of coffee, hence raising Gesha to the highest quality standards.You will treasure this cup and enjoy unique aromas, intense juicy flavours, aromatic floral notes and a delightful sweetness.

In 2017, they participated in the BOP Best Panama Coffee Competition for the first time and won sixth place. In recent years, the geisha batch is even more successful.

Abu Coffee is a Geisha varietal cultivated in Cañas Verdes, Boquete in, Panama located in a humid, rainy, and typical tropical forest. The geisha coffee trees in the park grow on the slopes of the Baru Volcano National Park. They are rich in organic matter and have a good drainage system, with an average height of 1550 meters. At altitude, coffee trees grow in a suitable temperature and humidity environment and thick fog, creating the unique charm of Abu Coffee. The coffee is distinguished by its unique aromas and special tasting notes of intense juicy flavors, aromatic floral notes, and sweetness.

The Abu Geishas we have selected has a stunning explosive floral fragrance, with a touch lemongrass. The main flavors are citrus, sugar cane, honey, chocolate, brown sugar, earl grey tea, etc. The taste is quite elegant. The consistency is moderate, but the texture is smooth, with a smooth taste like roasted Brulee, and a fresh and charming honey lemon finish.
