Poma - Colombia Pink Bourbon - Drip Bag

A floral, sweet Pink Bourbon from Huila, Colombia, ready to brew in a pour-over drip bag.

Each POMA drip bag holds 12 g of freshly roasted, precision-ground specialty coffee in an individually sealed, nitrogen-flushed sachet. Hang it over your mug, add hot water and you have a real pour-over in about three minutes, at home, at the office or on the go. No grinder, no equipment.

The coffee

Pink Bourbon is a rare variety first identified in Huila in southern Colombia. This washed lot from Las Brisas is bright and fragrant: rosewater and strawberry up front, turning to fig and brown sugar as the cup cools.

How to brew

1. Tear open the sachet and unfold the drip bag along the perforated line.
2. Hook the paper hangers over the rim of your mug (up to 10 cm wide).
3. Bloom: pour about 30 ml of water at 92–95 °C and wait 30 seconds.
4. Pour the remaining 150–170 ml in two slow circles.
5. Remove the bag and enjoy 180–200 ml of coffee.
