Frequently asked questions
Q: What exactly are coffee husks, and why use them?
A: Coffee husks are the outer shells of coffee beans that are usually discarded during the coffee production process. By repurposing them into durable and attractive cups, Huskee helps reduce agricultural waste and supports sustainability in the coffee industry.
Q: Can I use these cups for beverages other than espresso?
A: Absolutely! While designed with espresso in mind, their versatile size makes them suitable for any strong, concentrated brew or even as a container for espresso-based drinks like macchiatos.
Q: Are Huskee cups microwave safe?
A: To preserve the integrity and appearance of your Huskee cups, it's recommended to avoid microwaving them. The innovative material is designed for durability but may not be suitable for the high temperatures generated by microwaves.
Q: How do I participate in Huskee's closed-loop recycling program?
A: Huskee's commitment to sustainability includes a take-back program for end-of-life products. You can return used Huskee products to participating cafes or directly to Huskee, where they will be recycled or repurposed, continuing the cycle of sustainability.
Q: Is the color of the Huskee Espresso Set natural?
A: Yes, the natural color of these cups comes from the coffee husks themselves, complemented by eco-friendly materials that ensure the product is both sustainable and stylish.
