Hypernova ULTRA-S is the top burr upgrade for the Varia VS3: a 38 mm 6-core set with a double coating and a new geometry aimed at light and dense filter roasts.
The 440 stainless steel burrs carry a titanium layer plus a thermal plasma spray, reaching HRC67. They stay cooler while grinding and hold their cutting edge for longer.
Pre-crushing teeth and a revised burr geometry push more particles into the 50–600 micron range. Expect a silky body, high clarity and bright acidity – and faster grinding of lighter, denser beans.
